Congratulations to JULIA HERNANDEZ as our new 2010 Miss Diamond Bar!

On Sunday, March 21, 2010, the new Miss Diamond Bar and her court were selected from 16 contestants.  17 year old Julia Hernandez, attending Diamond Ranch High School, stood out among the contestants and won the crown for Miss Diamond Bar 2010.  Accompanying her on the 2010 court are 4 Princesses from Diamond Bar High School: 17-year-old Chelsea Solis, 17-year-old Nicole Torres, 18-year-old Stephanie Turner and 17-year-old Ivania Nguyen. 

The 16 contestants went through 6 weeks of training, prior to the pageant, on Interview skills, Professional Modeling sessions, Makeup sessions, and fitness trainings.  In addition, all participated in a successful Fashion Show and a Car Wash Fundraisers.  On Sunday, in addition to the court, Miss MVP Award went to Pamela Lee (UCI), Miss Congeniality was Alexandra Hernandez (Western Chrstian HS), Miss Photogenic was Chelsea Solis (DBHS), and Best Smile Award went to Ivana Nguyen (DBHS).  Miss Diamond Bar Pageant Inc. would like to congratulate all the rest of the 2010 contestants for their commitment leading up to the pageant and their phenominal performance at the pageant:

Miss Diamond Bar and her court of 4 princesses will start community service activities immediately and throughout the coming year in over 50 events.  All 5 of them will receive scholarships for their services in representing the City of Diamond Bar.  As Miss Diamond Bar 2010, Julia will also be able to represent Diamond Bar to compete in the Miss California USA Pageant in Fall 2010.
